Samuel Adams Imperial Series |

Founded in 2007 by a tenth great grandson of John Alden, beer barrel cooper on board the Mayflower, we are dedicated to celebrating the history and legacy of the Pilgrims by creating unique, high-quality ales for the New England market.

Samuel Adams brewers are once again answering drinkers’ call for bigger, more intense craft brews with the Samuel Adams Imperial Series.
The Samuel Adams Imperial Series offers beer lovers intense versions of some of their favorite traditional beer styles by boosting the quantity of ingredients and testing the limits of each traditional style.
With more robust and complex flavors and nearly twice the alcohol by volume of your average beer, each style in the Imperial Series is intended to be savored and appreciated like a fine wine.

Brewed with the finest organic malts and hops, our IPA features a bright-minted copper color and a crisp, yet smooth hop bitterness. Pale and crystal malts come through with a malty caramel sweetness, balanced with aggressively clean burst of fresh hop flavor in the middle palate without lingering bitter astringency. A strong floral and citrus character from generous dryhopping blends with strawberry esters from our house yeast strain for an inviting and satiating aroma. From grain to glass, our beers are fresh, pure, and organically certified to the highest standards.

Dogfish Head's signature product is its line of India Pale Ales (IPAs), which are offered in three varieties: 60 Minute, 90 Minute, and 120 Minute IPA.
As a brewery, Dogfish Head's output tends toward experimental or "extreme" beers, such as their tongue-in-cheek "Liquor de Malt," a bottle-conditioned malt liquor which typically comes in its own brown paper bag. Their products often use non-standard ingredients, such as green raisins in their "Raison D'Être". Some of their beers, including the WorldWide Stout, 120 Minute India Pale Ale, and the raspberry-flavored strong ale Fort, are highly alcoholic, reaching 18% to 20% alcohol by volume (typical beers have around 3% to 8% alcohol by volume).

Chang
Beer (
Thailand ) |
Appearance:
Perfectly clear amber-orange
topped with smooth
and creamy off-white
head.
Smell:
Caramel maltiness.
The malt dominates
the nose, not much
in the way of hops.
Taste:
Rich and malty...
wheat/grain, grass;
earthy. Light hops—very
crisp and clean
of the Noble variety.
The "malty"
has caramel, whole
multi-grain bread,
sweetness in a molasses
kind of way (i.e.,
not too sweet, slightly
bittersweet and
thick).
Mouthfeel:
Smooth, medium-bodied.
Creamy rich. |
Chang
Beer has an alcohol
content of 5% by volumer
and discerning beer
drinkers will appreciate
its full bodied, citrus
quality. Chang is
fabulous on its own
but its excellence
can really be appreciated
when you drink it
with food. That's
because it is specially
brewed to compliment
the exotic flavors
and textures of flavorsome
Thai dishes.
The first thing you'll
notice is the color
- rich golden honey.
You'll appreciate
the complex aromas
- a smoky, peaty blend
of sweet green apples
and full-bodied vanilla. |
